up early

It's no secret, I like my sleep. But I really do try to wake up extra early atleast one day when out of town to watch the sunrise. Watch the day dawn somewhere I've never been. This is one of several pictures I took while watching the sunrise in Duck, NC. I tried not to be so focus on capturing the moment, actually embrace the presence of the sun rising over the water. So peaceful. I didn't even realize what I captured until reviewing the images later that evening. Reflecting what I already felt... love.
